Warm day temperatures will prevail over the parts of Tamilnadu with cooler nights.
The trough of low at Mean Sea Level over southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Srilanka coast persists. Under its influence light rain is possible over isolated places of coastal Srilanka. A western disturbance is on its way from Caspian Sea and is likely to engulf Himalayan areas of Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh by February 6th.
Due to the presence of High Pressure Area (HPA) over the parts of Karnataka and Telengana, dry weather is expected to prevail with warmer than normal temperatures over parts of South India.
