Active start to October on cards

SouthWest Monsoon has further withdrawn from remaining parts of North Bay of Bengal, Chattisgarh and Maharashtra, entire Telangana, most parts of central Bay of Bengal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Central Arabian Sea and some parts of Rayalaseema and Karnataka.

The Depression over southeast and adjoining eastcentral Arabian sea slightly moved northwestwards and lay centered as of today. It is very likely to intensify into a Cyclonic Storm during next 24 hours and move towards West/West-Northwest direction.

Another low pressure area is likely to form over central and adjoining south Bay of Bengal around 8th October.

City Outlook:

Chennai – Partly cloudy skies with on and off showers Possible. Day high of 31C and low of 25C.

Vellore – Mercury will settle around 31C and low of 23.Odd shower possible.

Trichy – Cloudy with chance of showers exist. Day time high of 32C and night lows of 25C is forecast.

Madurai – Overcast and chance of few showers . Day highs of 31C will prevail with overnight lows of 23C.

Coimbatore – Mostly Overcast with a chance of an odd shower. Highs of 30C and lows of 22C will be observed.
