Fair weather conditions to continue in TN

With almost no rain generating mechanisms seen in the near vicinity of south India and the surrounding areas, fair weather is set to continue across most parts of South India. The High Pressure zone has come down south almost covering up to South India and simultaneously the seasonal rainfall trough or the ITCZ continues its gradual journey to the southern Hemisphere. Surface winds will remain gentle with almost calm conditions expected to prevail during the day time. Temperatures will stay almost close to average with marginal rise in day time temperatures above normal.

Chennai will wake up to a cool and pleasant morning and will lead to sunny day. Maximum day time high will settle close to 31 C
Coimbatore will stay dry and sunny with maximum registering close to 29 C
Madurai will see sunny conditions with pockets of clouds during the day time and will experience a day time high close to 32 C
Vellore will stay comfortable and sunny with maximum settling around 29 – 30 C
Trichy will stay warm and sunny conditions. Maximum will hover around 31 C
