Heat grips West & Interior TN
Seasonal high pressure & associated anticyclone over the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, while taking their positions in their climatological position, are also making significant changes in the lower level wind patterns. The Western disturbance induced low pressure area and the associated Upper Air Circulation (UAC) persists over Northwest India and that would bring showers over parts of Himachal Pradesh & J&K.
The Upper-mid level westerly winds along with the seasonal lower level anticyclonic flow would pump moisture from Bay of Bengal and create thundershowers over parts of UP, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar & Chhattisgarh. Few scattered showers might also occur over parts of interior AP, Telangana & South interior Karnataka, most parts of interior TN, South interior Karnataka and also parts of Kerala, Andhra would continue to see above normal temperatures.
