Isolated thunderstorms possible across North TN

North Tamil Nadu had witnessed widespread thunderstorms which brought rains to many places last evening. Even though Chennai city narrowly missed last evening thunderstorms , many other places straight from Vellore to Pondicherry witnessed good thunderstorms .

With availability of good amount of moisture in lower tropospheric levels , and influence of developing cyclonic circulation over West Central bay of bengal, Thunderstorm potential for North Tamilnadu including KTCC ( Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur , Chengalpattu, Chennai) districts this evening remains high. Scattered thunderstorms likely to occur mainly during evening and night time.
