Larger areas of TN to remain dry and hot
Day time heating & seasonal anticyclone associated wind flow on either side of the peninsula is seen influencing the weather conditions significantly over parts of East India, east central and adjoining peninsular India. Favourable thermodynamic conditions, increase in vorticity over east -northeast India helped in development of thunderstorms over isolated parts of North AP, Odisha, West Bengal and Northeastern states. Same conducive conditions might prevail for next 2 days and enhance the possibility of thunderstorms over the aforementioned areas.
Dry weather most likely to prevail over remaining parts of the country.

Kea weather takes this opportunity to wish our very own “Rain Man” Dr.Ramanan on a happy and peaceful retired life. We would like to thank you for all the support and encouragement provided to our weather blog when we had our pre NEM meets at RMC (2013, 2014) and the invitation extended to our blog for special Meteorological events like WMO day and monsoon review meets held at RMC.
Thank you Sir.
