Seasonal weather is set to continue over Tamil Nadu as one would expect in mid January with hardly any trace of moisture. The day temperature will stay around 30 degrees in most parts of the plains in Tamil Nadu.
Nights are expected to see a dip in minimum temperature around places like Vellore, Tirupattur, Jolarpet and Krishnagiri. Moderate to shallow fog likely over the aforementioned regions. Ground frost may occur in Nilgiris and Cardamom hill ranges. Udhagamandalam might be a good destination for a weekend trip to enjoy a typical winter.

Coimbatore can expect a warm day with day time high and night time low settling around 32 and 20 respectively.
