Tapering rain showers in Coastal Tamil Nadu

Patchy rains are possible over coastal Tamil Nadu and showers tend to be isolated as no major rain driving mechanism prevails. Partly cloudy to clear weather would be the order of the day and pleasant conditions are expected to stay along. Nights are expected to be nippy in north west and western interiors of the state. As NEM official scorecard draws a close by end of the year, no further increase in the tally is expected and a dry end to the year is likely.

North India under the blanket of winter chill will continue to witness dense to very dense fog in plains of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. An impending western disturbance on 24th may provide western Himalayan region with rain and snow.
