Active Monsoon Trough set to bring wet weather in east and west India

South west Monsoon has been vigorous over east Rajasthan and has been active over Gujarat during the past 24 hours. The rains in east India are mainly because of an active low pressure area at the western arm of the Monsoon Trough. In the eastern end of Monsoon Trough, a well marked low pressure area has intensified into a depression and has been responsible for some Squally  weather along with rains along the coastal parts of Orissa and west Bengal. The same conditions are set to continue over the next 24 hours as well with a little westward movement. Northern parts of west coast will see some rains as well under the influence of a feeble offshore trough. In the south, Tamil Nadu and the neighborhood areas will see isolated rains.
