Hot and humid conditions continue to be the order of the day over TN

Monsoon Dynamics continues to be interactive along the monsoon zone with couple  of system on either side of the monsoon trough playing their part in triggering rains all over Gangetic plains. Active Monsoon conditions likely to prevail over the states  of West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, UP and parts of Chhatisgarh for next 3-4 days.
Down south, peninsular India will continue to see hot and warm conditions. Parts of coastal Karnataka, Kerala would see moderate rains. Isolated evening showers would occur over coastal parts of TN.

City Outlook:
Chennai – Another steamy, hot day in prospect. A day high of 37 with a possibility of late evening Thunderstorm over the district.
Coimbatore – A cozy/breeze morning turning slightly warm as the day progresses. A high of 33 and a comfortable night at 22 degrees.
Madurai – Scorcher of a day with the mercury peaking at 38 degrees. A sultry late evening and a low of 26 degrees.
Trichy – The fort city to soak in the sun with a high of 38 degrees. A warm night at 27 degrees. Few stray showers in the late evening/ night.
Vellore – A calm morning leaving way to periods of abundant sunshine. A high of 36 degrees. A late evening shower or two over the region.
