TN to largely witness fair weather conditions with isolated Thunderstorms

Yesterday’s deep depression weakened to a depression, now lies over Jharkhand and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal and is likely to move in a westward direction and gradually weaken during the next 24 hours triggering isolated extremely heavy rains over Jharkhand. Heavy to very heavy rain is also likely at a few places over East Rajasthan and isolated places over West Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal and North Odisha.
Monsoon will continue to remain subdued over larger parts of Southern Peninsula with above normal temperatures tormenting parts of coastal Tamilnadu and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Kerala and Coastal Karnataka may see fairly widespread to widespread moderate rains over the next two days.
