Dry and Hot Conditions prevail over TN

The former depression 97B, which is now near South Uttar Pradesh. The dominant winds seen from North-west along its periphery. Hence the dry air is being pumped into TN and the temperatures going up at isolated places. Meanwhile the places of South Uttar Pradesh and North Madhya Pradesh will witness heavy rainfall. The system will later merge with the Monsoonal Low near Rajasthan.

Another circulation will enter and track nearly the same way as the previous system. Hence expected prolonged dry weather and winds likely to continue over Tamil Nadu. Due to the periphery of the system 97B, west coast will continue to witness dry weather.

Chennai – Partly cloudy likely to persist along the day.  A high of 37 degrees and a low of 27 degrees. Sea breeze might set around 4pm.
Coimbatore – A breezy with a cloudy afternoon likely. Day high will continue to remain moderate with a high of 33 degrees and a low of 24 degrees likely.
Madurai – Warm and sunny conditions to prevail with a high of 38  and a warm night at 27 degrees.
Trichy – Few scattered clouds laced with brilliant sunshine over the region. A high of 37 and a low of 26 degrees.
