Fascinating NEM-2022 to bid farewell on a pleasant note
As NEM season 2022 is about to bid farewell for most of the regions and Winter season about to start, Its been a pleasing yet Delugic North east monsoon till now and also the third consecutive normal monsoon for Tamilnadu.
NE Monsoon season began in Tamilnadu by 29th October. This Monsoon has been very challenging in predicting and analyzing the weather dynamics to the dot. But until now monsoon has been very much good at performance all over the state of Tamilnadu and Pondicherry.
Many subdivisions in Tamilnadu have reached normal to above normal quota for this year, except Delta and Southern districts.
Now its time to overcome the backlog for the deficit regions as the new low pressure area is expected to move Westwards or West-Northwestwards towards Sri Lanka in next one or two days
As per Multimodel forecasts, 98B expected to intensify into Well marked low or May be a Depression as it going to enjoy favorable environmental factors such as less to moderate shear, good diffluence area and strong poleward outflow.
98B may bring moderate to heavy rains across the southern districts and light to moderate or rather heavy rains may be expected to happen over some parts of Central Tamilnadu. North coastal and interior Tamilnadu may receive light to moderate rains with isolated heavy rains at one or two places.
After the current system moves away / weakens, dry air is expected to dip more south and Winter to be in full swing all over the southern peninsula with sharp decrease in night temperatures after 27th of December.
Finally, all thanks to a wonderful NEM 2022 filled with highs and lows, and lets all get ready to enjoy winter season with isolated light to moderate rainy spells here and there to end up the season with a pleasant way !!!
