Its “Penalty Shootout ” as NEMR season is set to culminate

North East Monsoon rainfall period ( NEMR If we consider October 1till December 5 as Full time, December6-20 as Extra time & December 21 -31st Penalty shootout – Tiebreaker) is almost into the final few minutes of the Extra time and probably a Penalty shoot out would be in place to decide the outcome of few met subdivisions.
which are still lagging behind as they failed to capitalize on the chances they got or it just eluded them….As many as 19 Met subdivisions have to capitalize on what ever chances they get to come up trumps in the spot kick scenario.
Few met subdivisions have come up with a “Lionell” performance ( Erode/ Tirupattur and there were others like Nagai, Tiruvarur & Toothukudi that were unfortunate to Mess(it) up altogether . Hopefully the upcoming session of play after the full & extra time should augur well to find the goal post net ..

Thus far, the annual North East monsoon scores hasn’t been shy of some steller individual performances.. In all fairness the Jury may decide to award Sirgazhi under Myladuthurai Met Subdivision the Golden Boot Award for that staggering 450 mm + performance
Coonoor under CBE met Division gets the Golden ball award for it’s stellar 300 mm + show..

Thus far in all fairness, been a roller coaster of a season let’s hope for a fairytale finish to round it off..
