Rainfall to decrease over North Coastal TN

The Trough of Low at Mean Sea level from Southeast Arabian Sea to South Gujarat coast is giving company to another one from Srilanka to Southwest Bay of Bengal off North Tamilnadu.

Under these Influences, South and Delta districts of TN will see heavy rainfall especially Kanyakumari, Tuticorin, Tirunelveli. Due To a High pressure Area dominating over North Tamilnadu, Chennai, Thiruvallur and Kanchipuram districts will see less rainfall.

City Forecast

Chennai – City Will See cloudy weather with isolated thundery showers. Maximum Temperature expected to reach around 28C.

Vellore – Sky will be partly cloudy with few showers. Temperature will be around 29C.

Trichy – Sky will be cloudy with drizzles. Temperature will be around 29C.

Madurai – Good chances for heavy rain in isolated places. Temperature will reach 29C.

Coimbatore – Mercury expected to peak around 28c with chances for good rainfall.
