Sluggish weather likely to continue in most parts of TN

The Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation (UAC) over 3 different regions, one over Lakshadweep & neighbourhood, another over Tripura & neighbourhood and the third over Southwest Bay of Bengal off Tamil Nadu coast persists.
Rains are very likely over many places of Andaman & Nicobar Islands and at a few places over extreme South Peninsular India. However sluggish weather is likely to continue over most parts of TN.
As expected heavy rains occurred at isolated places over Kerala. South West Monsoon (SWM) has further withdrawn from remaining parts of north India. Conditions are favourable for further withdrawal of SWM from remaining parts of North east India and some more parts of Bay of Bengal, Peninsular India and Arabian Sea during next 2 – 3 days.
