Trend of above normal temperatures set to continue over TN

The famed SWM has been largely docile over the last few days barring regions of East UP & East MP where it has chosen to be on the offensive. Meanwhile, a Well-marked Low Pressure over Northwest Bay of Bengal along with associated Upper Air Circulation is seen persisting. The said system may well concentrate into a depression soon.  Under its influence, heavy to very heavy spells are likely over East MP, Jharkhand and North Chattisgarh.
The synoptic scenario over the bay is likely to be boosted by a formation of Low pressure area over the weekend. Isolated rain spells expected over Konkan & Goa and isolated regions of coastal Karnataka.
Moving down south there isn’t much of activity seen and the current hot and oppressive conditions are likely to persist over the next few days. Chance of some isolated showers over West TN seems a possibility.
