Below normal August rains to continue for TN

In the absence of any mesoscale system and dominating low relative humidity, most parts of TN will continue to experience dry weather and summer like conditions at least for the next few days. Both coastal areas and interiors are set to sizzle as strong westerlies blow across the region. Sea Breeze will continue to set across the coast in the afternoons with possibility of isolated sharp thundershowers later during the day.

Many parts of Central India and Odisha are expected to receive moderate to heavy rainfall as the monsoon trough is fully active across the region.
