Heavy Rains possible over Delta and South Coastal TN

An easterly wave is seen in the vicinity which is expected to impact south and delta districts of Tamil Nadu from later today. It is anticipated to bring widespread Moderate to heavy rains across those regions for next 3-4 days.

As the easterly wave is lower in latitude, The KTCC( Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur, Chengalpattu, Chennai) districts can look forward only to scattered moderate rains, at times heavy for next 2 days from tonight.
